The only thing I miss from the 1970's is the fact that music and musicians respected women more. Nowadays women are degraded and regarded as sex props. But in the 70's you felt loved and appreciated.

I really miss "Aspen" soda -- it was soooo good! A light, clean, crisp apple taste (nothing like today's "sparkling cider" and such.) I even remember the can - sorta - it was lime green and had an apple sillouette on it in, I think yellow, gold, red, etc. Oh, I loved those!

Also, I miss wearing "Granny" dresses, which were the long (to the floor) dresses, usually in a calico of some sort (the "patchwork" dress in the 1970s section would have been one). At our elementary school, we were only allowed to wear them on specially designated days.
Also, I do miss "paper drives" at our school. Seeing the nice neat stacks of newspaper lined up along the fence. It was a big deal to us kids because the winning grade got a party with cake and ice cream!
Lastly, remember PRELL shampoo? It came in a clear plastic tube, kinda like a tooth paste tube in shape, and the shampoo itself was a bright green gel. And also I loved those Suave "fruit" shampoos that had a fragrance to match their name and color (strawberry, peach, green apple, etc.) Smelled completely fake, as far as fruit goes, but I loved their smell! (Whaddaya expect from a kid raised on Tang and Froot Loops!?!) :-)
